Dr. Troy King
is a Board certified Diplomat of
the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a Fellow of the
American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He obtained his Doctor
of Dental Surgery degree from the Louisiana State University
School of Dentistry. After dental school, Dr. King’s love of
treating children let him to complete an additional two year
residency program specializing in Pediatric Dentistry at the
Children’s Hospital of New Orleans through the Louisiana State
University School of Dentistry. During his pediatric residency
he received extensive clinical, emergency, and hospital
training. He has practiced exclusively in Central Florida since
1997.
Dr. King is passionate about pediatric dentistry and is very active in the dental profession. He is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Florida Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, as well as the Florida Dental Association and the Dental Society of Greater Orlando. He is also a member of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology and the Florida Dental Society of Anesthesiology. He has served on the Board of several professional and business organizations and remains active in the community.
Dr. King feels truly blessed to have been able to fulfill his lifelong dream of making a difference in the lives of children on a daily basis. Dr. King and his wife, Christy, are active members of their church and enjoy calling the Orlando area home. A native of Louisiana, he also enjoys cooking, exercising, and college football. As the father of twelve children, seven girls and five boys, he enjoys spending time with his wife and family and helping around the house as much as possible.
